It's OK! Blame me.

Star Wh*res - Retweet of the Jedi

I (re)joined twitter about 7 months ago when I discovered favstar. I never knew about the site until then and I was thrilled to see so many funny people in one place, it made it so much easier for me to find new tweeters to follow.

It’s still the main reason I visit the site. Sure, I’m not gonna lie. I get a little kick out of seeing some of my humble attempts to be funny get the odd star here and there, but like most of us, I will never see myself on the leaderboard (or even the rising board) and I’m ok with that.

I’m just a regular guy with somewhat of a sense of humor and the geniuses on the leaderboard are, in my opinion, often good enough to be staff writers for a TV-show. Sometimes that’s even the case.

So the changes made to favstar doesn’t really concern me since my page is still there and I still get to find new talents to follow.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t sweat it. If you’re funny people will notice. Regardless of the amount of stars you’ve collected. Besides, ending up on the oh so popular leaderboard might only put pressure on you to keep the “winning streak”.

Relax, continue being your funny self and just be humble and happy when you get a star or a RT.

It’s all in good fun anyway. Right?
